Sufism is a term which can never be defined or described accurately in mere words. The concept of Sufism is without any distinct outline still it is bona fide. There is no strict ritual or ceremony associated with it, yet it is a religion-the Religion of Heart, as a Sufi is always immersed in love with God. Sufism is a commitment to God in absolute trust and obedience.

The enchantingly beautiful land of Kashmir is the true reflection of Paradise. The pristine environment and the charismatic landscape meticulously crafted by nature lend a divine aura to the valley. The pious persons experience a special proximity to the Lord Almighty giving rise to a perpetual flow of holy thoughts.  The Blessed Land which is very special to Lord has therefore been chosen to become the heart of Sufism.  Thousands of Sufi Saints in the past several centuries have spread the light of Sufism.  Their sacred thoughts and deeds illuminated the land and the minds of the people. The invaluable gems of Sufism gifted to the Valley of Kashmir by the Sufi Saints were not meant for the People of Kashmir alone. They were predestined to be distributed throughout the world to enrich the souls of all nations.

Kashmir, which is the main and important province of Jammu and Kashmir State of India, is the epitome of Sufism in the world. It is the only place in the world which has been visited by revered and spiritual personalities since times immemorial
